Crankbrothers have breathed new life into their pedals and developed a range of pedals that all share common parts. From a size and platform point of view the Candy’s sit between the slim XC Egg Beater pedal and the DH Mallet pedal, sitting within the machined aluminum body are cast steel wings with the benefit from a cartridge and needle bearing spinning on a redesigned forged spindle with an improved sealing seal system. If any parts do wear out then you can completely replace all the internals for about £15 which is a bargain Crankbrothers back this up with a 5 year warranty. Another handy inclusion is a steel rod that you can use to knock out old bearings from your pedals.
